The Positions

Tasks in Inside Sales and Marketing (Location Cologne)
• You will provide support to the Field Sales Representatives in order to generate more revenue. You will work closely together with your field sales representatives.
• You will qualify leads by research and direct calls to potential new customers.
• You will be the first contact for incoming calls of existing and new customer contacts.
• You will provide customer service.
• You will assist the sales department with administrative tasks.
• You will report to the European Inside Sales Manager.
• The inside sales department is seen as a talent pool within the company. Candidates who perform well in this position are the first to be recommended for a further career either in field sales, technical support or marketing.

Tasks in Field Sales (several regions in Germany and the Netherlands, home-office-based)
• You manage and to support all existing customers and to realize the direct marketing and sales targets in your sales territory.
• You systematically introduce new products into the market incl. pricing
• You completely support all customers scientifically including organization of trainings, seminars, workshops and on-site visits in customer labs

Your Profile

• You have a BSc, MSc or PhD in Haematology/ Immunology/ Molecular and Cell Biology or another comparable academic education and a proven talent for sales. For the Field Sales Tasks people with proven sales experience are needed.
• Candidates with a corresponding technical or commercial background and working experience in the sales / marketing department of a biotech company are also welcome.
• You are a well organized personality with strong communication skills.
• You speak German and English fluently, knowledge in Dutch language would be an asset.
